The issue of resource control from the Niger-Delta region will now raise its ugly head now. The ascension of Jonathan into power initially quelled it without really solving it while boko haram too began their aggression to alert the President of not been unaccepted. The militants too will now resurface except they continue to enjoy the renewal of pipeline surveillance contracts and this I doubt its sustenance by this incoming administration. The action of Jonathan in the just concluded presidential election is just to still the tide in the temporary but to continue from where it stopped later. This is why any attempt to throw away the referendum prepared by the national confab organised by the government will be a mistake with grave consequences. Whether we like it or not, we are not really one in this country until the fundamental issues that affects us regionally are addressed without sentiments and favouritism. Nigeria should have been where it ought to be but the extent of damage done through the polarization of ethnicity, religiosity and tribalism is too alarming. I don't think it is this government that has answers to it either. God help us!

THE POWER OF INFLUENCE An individual begins to develop his or her leadership abilities when he or she starts to influence others towards a particular direction. The reason why you take the lead when you influence others is basically because we are dealing with humans. Other things such as animals, money and properties can only be managed and controlled before you can generate value from them or multiply their usefulness but for humans, it is a different case totally. Kaduna: Biometric verification for all civil service workers

The Kaduna State Government , headed by Governor Nasir El - Rufai , has announced the commencement of biometric verification of all civil servants in its employment from Wednesday 24 June 2015 . The Head of Service, Mrs Alisabatu Dada-Onazi, announced the exercise in a statement . She said it is designed to provide the government with accurate and reliable record of its personnel and clean- up its payroll. According to the circular , data collected from the exercise will enable the government to determine whether the billions of naira spent monthly on staff salaries are paid to identifiable and verifiable civil servants or not. The biometric registration exercise will be conducted simultaneously across the three zones , will take place in Kaduna , Kafanchan and Zaria.
