Inequality Not Poverty Reason For Terror In Nigeria

Posted by admin Written by Dr. Peregrino Brimah (ENDS initiative) Buhari and Osinbajo have to address the right issues to fight terror Inequality is the bane of terrorism Poverty does not create terrorists. A lack of Western education does not fester terror. These popular misconceptions needs to be reviewed. We are being disrespectful and disingenuous when we falsely accuse the poor or Western-uneducated of being prone to terror. I am proud to belong to the poor group. Whatever I make financially, I quickly distribute and usually have an empty account, oft needing to borrow money. We poor folk are not terrorists. While in college, I was beaten and threatened to join confraternities. I never did. I was not more Western-educated than my colleagues who signed up with those college terror organisations. I only had a better moral grounding and more fear of God. I knew that man must not harm and kill for stupid reasons or parade in the bush and beat and cut one another ...

The Bible Prophesied About Obama’s ‘Nuclear Deal With Iran’ And Predicted It Will Be A Complete Catastrophe

Posted by admin By Walid Shoebat There is much in the Bible about Iran and it even described the nuclear catastrophe that will result from Obama’s nuclear deal with it. You think this is far-fetched? Just read. For years, Bible prophecy analysts had missed the verses and for years, we have been on record stating that Iran will gain its nukes and so far we were the few who were correct, while the rest still contemplate Israel removing the threat before it happens. We were no geniuses to figure all this, we just read the Bible as Muslims and saw in it that we needed salvation, so we converted and believed. But before we share the obvious references that are rarely read, lets explain how this deal is a total catastrophe. Iran holds the world’s fourth-largest proved crude reserves and the second-largest natural gas reserves, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The Iran nuclear deal is likely to provide little benefit for...

Don't Think About It!

Pride anchors on glory, success and achievement. Meaning that, it is impossible to develop pride without the aforementioned factors above! The expression of pride now comes alive in you when you begin to nurture the thought of those elements as means of comparison between you and anybody else. Pride is simply an inflated ego that has gone out of perspectives and control. You see yourself not only better but also the most qualified especially when it comes to getting preferences. All these often starts from the mind and that is why the only antidote is HUMILITY. You must humiliate your mind by considering others first before yourself otherwise you will perpetually fall into the trap of pride easily. So stop overrating yourself just because of those factors above and start appreciating God for whatever privilege you might have enjoyed in your life time so far: degrees, certificates, spouse, home, family background, riches, gadgets, devices, eloquence, position, title, intelligence, beau...

Gmail now has the "Undo Send" option

Any Gmail user, who regrets a message they just sent, has the option to undo the action, provided they are quick enough, a report said on Wednesday. It added that the new “Undo Send’’ option allowed a message to be retrieved, so long as it is clicked upon within 30 seconds of the “Send’’ command being hit. “The idea is to give users a second chance if they catch a mistake or realise they have sent a note to the wrong person. “The function has, so far, only been available as an experimental feature. “It is still not automatic, as availability has to be activated in the setting,’’ the report noted. “ However, it added that the users could opt for the “undo’’ function to work for between five and 30 seconds after the initial “send’’.

Nigeria Legalising Gay Rights Is Our Highest Priorities- US

Posted by admin on July 13, 2015. The US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, has stated that they would continue to pressurize Nigeria until it legalizes same sex marriage. Thomas-Greenfield made this know during a live-web chat with journalists in Washington. The God’s Own country recently legalized gay marriage, a development, which sparked global condemnations. According to her, America was not bothered that Chinese companies were fast taking over the African market from their US counterparts. President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to visit the country in few weeks time. Thomas-Greenfield, who said the US had adopted the protection of the rights of same-sex people as part of its foreign policies, vowed that Washington would continue to mount and sustain pressure on Nigeria and other countries to reverse their laws against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender community. She said, “ As a government, it is one of...

It's 2yrs already!

It's two years today since I lost my first love and wife, Mrs Oluwatobiloba Enitan Ruth Akindolani nee Oladejo . It has been really challenging on all front! The gallant role she played in my life while alive was practical, feasible and tangible. She was a raregem and epitome of intelligence by all standards. I was all that mattered to her! At least, the first priority! She treated me as if I was another baby of hers except that I was an older one in this case though seemed awkward to me then but later appreciated her reasons for behaving in such manner since I can't have two mothers (Lol!). Without any doubt, she was simply in her own class. I miss her more now than when she was alive. Like they say, "You don't value what you have until you loose it". I did value her but never knew her true worth and I think I do now! Anyway, it is well! God knew better and why she was taken away so early but who am I to question His authority? I know it wasn't His p...

Nigerian kids who broke British records in Mathematics

Meet twins Paula and Peter Imafidon – they passed the University of Cambridge Advanced Maths A level at age 8! They chat with GMTV’s John Stapleton. The 8-year-old twins from Waltham Forest in northeast London are a part of the highest-achieving clan in the history of Great Britain education. The two youngest Nigerian siblings are about to make British history as the youngest students to ever enter high school. They astounded veteran experts of academia when they became the youngest to ever pass the University of Cambridge’s advanced mathematics exam. That’s on top of the fact they have set world records when they passed the A/AS-level math papers. Chris Imafidon, their father, said he’s not concerned about his youngest children’s ability to adapt to secondary school despite their tender age. “We’re delighted with the progress they have made,” he said. “Because they are twins they are always able to help and support each other.” To Peter and Paula’s parents, this is ...
