Examine Yourself First!

Posted by admin Akindolani Oluwasegun Michael @segunakindolani Truly, God never leaves His own(people) no matter the affliction or condition. He is always committed to their rescue. He will do whatever it takes to dislodge the enemy of His people, hence establishing their deliverance for the sake of His name. But why do we end up suffering and cause the enemy to blaspheme His name over our lives. After all, the word of God cannot lie for it is impossible for God to lie. I remembered God telling me sometimes ago that, "Never blame me for your problem in life because I, the Lord, can never be responsible for the failures and problems of man. It is man that is absolutely responsible for the outcomes of his life through his choices". It was strange to me then but I think I later understood it perfectly. Friend, in most cases, it is often either our lack of connection with Him , poor and insincere commitments or wavering compromises of our integrity that of...

Character Before Charisma: Finding the right balance

Posted by admin Akindolani Oluwasegun Michael @segunakindolani Character Before Charisma: Finding the right balance "1  Samuel  16:7 : But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. " " Character  before duty ", they say. This saying is true from every standard and also well validated by scriptures as mentioned above. In this fast-paced, technology-induced and modern-structured society, we have erroneously focused and placed priority more on charisma rather than character; competence instead of integrity and capabilities over capacities. This is as a result of our knack for outstanding success and qualitative delivery at its peak.  The world system has now adopted this model as its own way of self-sustenance which in most cases has helped us in throwing ca...

You Need JESUS!

Posted by admin Akindolani Oluwasegun Michael @segunakindolani You Need This Jesus ! It is of the truth that everyone will have an experience of eternity after their exit from this wicked and perverse world★¹. This eternity is of two kind: the eternity that has to do with eternal life and the one that has to do with eternal damnation★².  Nobody can escape either of the two. God has and will always place a choice before us to choose our destiny, therefore, it is expedient that you choose eternal life★³. But it is important to know also that, this eternal life, is impossible to receive without JESUS because He is that very eternal life and also the giver to anyone who is willing★⁴. Everything God created was given to JESUS because of His sacrifice(ultimate) on the cross while everything you need too is also embedded in the eternal life He gives you★ 5 . Don't be deceived friend neither religion, worldliness nor idolatry can guarantee this eternal life which is...

Why It’s So Hard To Be ‘Just Friends’ With The One You Love

Posted by admin Three years ago, I was walking down a cherry blossom-lined sidewalk at sunset. Spring had crept up on the city in a way that seemed to indicate that something important was about to happen. But on that particular day, I was in a rush; I’d signed up for a beginners’ bartending class. I was going to become a bartender. Unemployment stung worse than a wasp’s sting: It made me feel subpar and subhuman, and getting a job was my only goal. My walk turned into a run. I was determined not to be slowed down by lampposts that creeped onto sidewalks. And then, while waiting anxiously at cross the crosswalk, I saw him. He stood at just over six feet tall, and he had blond hair and aquamarine-blue eyes. He’d apparently just stepped out of a menswear magazine. That was the moment I should’ve known he was too good to be true. We briefly made eye contact, and he mouthed something I couldn’t hear through my ostentatious headphones. I took them off. “Pardon?” I s...

Save Your Facebook page from hacking!

Posted by admin The way people's Facebook accounts are hacked nowadays is becoming alarming nevertheless I will like to bring to your awareness that in most cases they do happen when we ignorantly grant a third party app authorization. These apps then sends on behalf of their own clients postings on those who gave the consent. I have fallen a victim too before. I initially did not understand how I came about it but it was on discovery that certain apps that I granted approval were responsible.  Therefore, I became cautious whenever I  am asked online to either open an app through Facebook, twitter or googleplus. It is more rampant with Facebook because it has the largest coverage of subscribers averaging a user of 1 billion on a daily basis. These so-called sites through those apps promote their online presence. So you are more vulnerable if you just check any kind of site or approve an app. In case you are in that shoe right now, just follow the simple instructions b...

11 Amazing Confluences around the World

Posted by admin River waters simply meeting is one thing, but when those bodies of water display distinguishing colors from one other without mixing, it can create some truly astounding environmental displays. When two or more bodies of water meet, like rivers, it’s called a confluence. This occurs when two streams join to become one river or, as in the examples below, when a tributary joins a larger river. As you can see in these stunning pictures, confluences take place all over the world and create some beautiful scenery with the distinct colors they display. These color differences are determined by what debris, silt, vegetation or chemicals the water caries, which clearly contrast the river they join into. But don’t take my word for it, go ahead and take a look at some of these amazing confluences from all around the globe. 1. Confluence of the Thompson and Fraser Rivers (Lytton, BC, Canada) The Thompson River is the 3 rd  largest river of British Columbi...

Posted by admin Written by Akindolani Oluwasegun Michael @segunakindolani BIBLICAL SUCCESS SERIES Mechanism For Kingdom Success ( Pt 1) Text : Joshua 1:8; Deuteronomy 30:15 INTRODUCTION Success is a familiar and popular word with people but not everyone has the benefit of enjoying it at will. However, we could have tasted in a certain measure or degree at a particular period of time in our lives. Let me paint these pictures in your mind before I proceed in the part one of this series: 1. An athlete who just finished a race event after crossing the line first , 2. A student who bagged a degree and collects his certificate during convocation , 3. An evangelist who had just harvested souls into the kingdom after a ministration in a crusade or outreach , and 4. A football team that just won a match against her opponent .
