Save Your Facebook page from hacking!

The way people's Facebook accounts are hacked nowadays is becoming alarming nevertheless I will like to bring to your awareness that in most cases they do happen when we ignorantly grant a third party app authorization. These apps then sends on behalf of their own clients postings on those who gave the consent. I have fallen a victim too before. I initially did not understand how I came about it but it was on discovery that certain apps that I granted approval were responsible.  Therefore, I became cautious whenever I  am asked online to either open an app through Facebook, twitter or googleplus. It is more rampant with Facebook because it has the largest coverage of subscribers averaging a user of 1 billion on a daily basis. These so-called sites through those apps promote their online presence. So you are more vulnerable if you just check any kind of site or approve an app. In case you are in that shoe right now, just follow the simple instructions below:

Go to your Facebook account settings>>>Apps>>>logged in with Facebook>>>Apps&websites. 
Correct it from there.

You will see list of all third parties that was authorized then you remove it. I noticed of recent that some apps like hootsuite & sociota post from nigeriatodaysgist.blogspot.com, amebong.com and networkedblog.com. Look for it and remove it. It had an authorization that's why. Try it out and let's see if it works. Alright thanks everyone!

Kaduna: Biometric verification for all civil service workers

The Kaduna State Government , headed by Governor Nasir El - Rufai , has announced the commencement of biometric verification of all civil servants in its employment from Wednesday 24 June 2015 . The Head of Service, Mrs Alisabatu Dada-Onazi, announced the exercise in a statement . She said it is designed to provide the government with accurate and reliable record of its personnel and clean- up its payroll. According to the circular , data collected from the exercise will enable the government to determine whether the billions of naira spent monthly on staff salaries are paid to identifiable and verifiable civil servants or not. The biometric registration exercise will be conducted simultaneously across the three zones , will take place in Kaduna , Kafanchan and Zaria.
